Tigertailz are back. I heard almost two years ago Steevi Jaimz and Ace Finchum were reforming the band. Looks like Steevi doesn't own the name, cause everyone from Bezerk lineup is there except for Ace Finchum. As some of you may know, I am a bassist myself, so I considered auditioning for Tigertailz when they were looking for a bassist and guitarist. I was starting my own band at the time so I skipped it. That band is now broken up. Anyway, this is the first new music from Tigertailz we've heard in nine years. Let's get on it!
1) King Of The World is a rocker which starts out the album nicely. Tigertailz has not ditched their roots. I'm guessing this song was their reunion song. Because it includes lyrics like "..you can't stop me now, I'm the king of the world..." It's a good rockin' song makin' a point that Tigertailz is back with a vengeance.

Score: 9/10
2) Tigerfeet starts out with swingin' drums. This is a fun rockin' song in the same vein as Danger Danger's self-titled debut album. As a matter of fact, it's similar in a lot of ways to an unreleased song by D2 called "Lovin' A Girl Like You."
-------------------
Score: 10/10
3) Kill The Clown starts out slow with acoustic picking on an electric guitar. The intro goes for about 35 seconds, and it goes into an all-out rocker. 80's rockers should go nuts over this shit. I know I am.

Score: 10/10
Comments:
Welcome back, Tigertailz. This band hasn't missed a beat. Look for the new album Bezerk 2.0 in early 2005. The lineup right now is Kim Hooker (vocals), Jay Pepper (guitar), Pepsi Tate (bass guitar), and Mic Hourihan (drums, Desecration).
