STOP THE PRESSES: Keith St. John joins The Sweet
April 19, 2010
by Gerry Gittelson

Keith St. John has joined The Sweet as lead singer, replacing Joe Retta for at least three gigs and perhaps permanently.

"I'm not at liberty to say," St. John said. "We just had our first rehearsal, and I'm learning the arrangements."

St. John plays his first show May 1 at a festival in Thousand Oaks near Los Angeles.

The singer is a busy man these days. He is also singing for Montrose, Neal Schon's band, and last but not least Jeremy Brunner, a top guitarist/songwriter who is launching a new rock project.
