Rock-N-Radio Exclusives:

Remember Shake City?

Remember Shake City? They were a popular band on the Sunset Strip back in the day based on good songs, good looks and the novelty of having singer Adam Shore, who preceded Jani Lane as a member of Warrant before helping to form Shake City.

Adam and I worked together at Rock City News -- he was an ad rep -- and both of us were very good friends with affable drummer Todd Lane of New Haven.

Anyway, the band recorded a bunch of songs with Tommy Thayer and Warrant's Erik Turner. At the time, Turner was the bigger name, but since then Thayer has joined KISS and is still more than doing justice to Ace. These songs have resurfaced with a release on Eonian Records. Check it out.
